How to convert SVG to PNG or JPG
SVG is perfect for logos because it stays sharp at any size, but social networks, email signatures and many apps won't accept it. Convert it to PNG for anywhere you need a normal image.
Step by step
- Open the File Editor. Choose the HEIC · SVG · ICO · BMP task.
- Upload your SVG. Pick the .svg file.
- Choose the output. PNG for logos and transparent graphics, JPG for a solid background, ICO for a favicon.
- Download. Save the image.
Keep a copy of the SVG
The converted PNG has a fixed size, so it will blur if it's enlarged later. Keep the original SVG as your master logo and convert a fresh copy whenever you need a new size.
Pick a big enough size
Because an SVG has no fixed size, think about where the PNG will be used. A logo for a website header might need 600 px wide; for print, go much larger. It's easy to make a big PNG smaller later, but not the other way round.
Questions
Is it free?
Yes, with no watermark.
Will the background stay transparent?
Yes, as a PNG or WebP.
Can I make a favicon from it?
Yes. Choose ICO as the output.
Why does my SVG look different after converting?
SVGs that rely on fonts not installed on your device can render with a fallback font. Convert text to outlines in your design app first.
